Think about this for a second...
In any sport, when the game is on the line you give the ball to your superstar. You put the fate and destiny in his hands, and win or lose, you trust him to make the play. No, it's not only because he has the ability to make the game-winning shot, but also the confidence. Real winners want the ball when the game is on the line. it's more than just that though; it's what you don t see. Real winners have the confidence to bounce back, not drive deeper, when they fail.
So what's my point?
First, to be the best in anything, you start here. C ommitment is not the amount of time you spend but a line you cross. Becoming a pua isn't something you do on your free time, but it's something you dedicate your everything to. Don't want to? Then don't complain that you can t play the game, don't “hate” when other guys are walking away with the girl you picked. They wanted it, worked for it, more so than you did so justification for higher dedication . If you don t want to commit, than you are saying you don t mind the life of an afc, whether it's an above-average afc or a “working on it” afc… you re still an afc.
Once you cross over, and decide becoming the best is what you want, you change your “practice” game. Winning the easy game, or going for the girl you know you can get, only hurts your game. The best go after the hardest and toughest challenges. The pua who goes out and games, and gets three closes of “seven out of ten” toi's is not a better pua than the one who goes out and gets rejected by three “ten out of tens”. It's not about just closing,it's about closing at the top .
Why do you go up and game on mediocre girls? You are afraid to fail. Which means, you are afraid to learn. Instead, change your attitude and go out and game on the hottest and sexiest girls. Yes, you'll get shot down, but you'll learn. You'll keep trying. failing. learning, until you learn how to game the dimes. play the game on the hardest level , and the easy levels become a joke.
There is no perfect pick-up. No line will ever score you the sexy trick. Practice and use only one method and that s all you become. One dimensional. The best pua is one who becomes it all; understands cocky-funny, is alpha without emphasizing, is confidant etc. Use and re-use the same tired ####, and you are just that. How many afc s out there try to use the “mystery method” or any other pick-up stint over and over again, without really learning the game. All they learn is the game of “mm” or whatever set they're using. Canned #### is just that. Pre planned routines, pre-determined lines etc are nothing short of a waste. Y ou can plan the perfect play, but you cannot predict the defense.
So instead of just using canned-routines, learn the “science” or the how and whys behind attraction and game as it comes. See your toi, understand how to create attraction, and then simply tailor your knowledge to your game, lines, and techniques. Because you are learning from the stunning girls you don't get, and because you understand the psychology behind the “reasons why”, your game skyrockets.
The funny thing, or the gift of the game, is that if you keep learning from your mistakes and are still determined enough to not give way to discouragement, surprisingly your inner game will strengthen. So many guys play the game and try to curb their lines, or falsely give off the sense that they are “alpha”. You can only lie and fake things for so long, but unless you really believe in yourself and your inner game is sound, subconsciously the tricks will know. A sense they have will trigger and you will lft saying to yourself “but i tried I thought I did it all right”. you can't fake the game, you can only become good by understanding the game, and working at it.
So where does this leave you? Critique your game. Are you just a keyboard jockey, or running the same tried ####?, or are you out there in the field, playing the game. If you re not, then have fun watching it while we star in it.
